Week 14 – Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has arrived! And slowly blooming with it are beautiful flowers, my favorite photographic subjects. I showed you the first bloom a couple weeks ago and this week I’ll show you, my favorite, the crocuses! In our gardens, we have different shades of yellow, purple and white and they are all represented in the photos below.

These shots were taken from my iPhone 4s and to get the perfect perspective (not saying that these are perfect at all) I had to get down and dirty in the grass. I feel that you really have to get up close and personal with the flowers to really capture their details. And as Paul Auster, the author of The Brooklyn Follies, puts it “The truth of the story lies in the details”.
